- It's Important To Have a Dedicated Place To Record
People ask me what they can do to feel more inspired to practice and pursue voiceover work. I think one of the answers is to have a place that stays set up if at all possible. I know there are many situations where space is tight so it may not be possible for everyone, but if at all possible dedicate a corner or space that is always set up so you can just go over and lay down some tracks and play them back whenever you have time. You'll be able to practice anytime you want and you'll feel more inclined to keep practicing. The more you practice and develop your reading and recording skills, the more likely you are to get work:)
